Dr Mahera AlAwadhi
Dr Mahera previously held several positions at the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), most recently as a policy advisor in the health regulation sector, DHA. She is the leading person on putting all health governance-related regulations and policies in the Emirate of Dubai. She is also an adjunct professor at the Mohammad bin Rashid School of medicine.
Dr Mahera has also played an important role in leading implementation NABIDH policies by conducting several awareness webinars within the health sector. In addition, she actively established links between DHA and other organizations within the UAE and internationally.

In addition to her extensive professional career, she is regularly invited to lecture at prestigious institutions and to speak at various medical and health informatics conferences. Her work has also been published in several international journals, and presented at several conferences outside the country.
Dr. Mahera obtained her Medical degree and then her Master's in Molecular pathology from Kuwait University, earned her PhD in Clinical Genetics in UK, research training from Harvard Medical School, Research Ethics intense training at Maryland school of Medicine, and Health Policy course from the London school of Economics.
