Dr. Shamsa Al Suwaidi, a highly experienced consultant family physician in Dubai, currently serves as the Head of the Ambulatory Professional Development Office at Dubai Health. With over a decade of medical practice, she holds certifications from the Arab Board of Health Specialization and the Royal College of General Practitioners, complemented by a master's in public administration from Mohammad Bin Rashid School of Government.Dr. Shamsa is actively engaged in various committees, notably the Dubai Health Authority Ethical Committee, overseeing research request's adherence to international and local guidelines.

She holds a crucial role in the executive committee at the Primary Health Care level, contributing to decision-making processes in response to evolving needs, priorities, and strategies, and providing vital support for the staff. Additionally, she is a dedicated member of the Disaster Committee, responsible for disaster planning, training, and drills at Ambulatory Health Centers, and the Quality and Patient Safety Committee, ensuring the maintenance of Key Performance Indicators related to patient safety through implementation, audit, monitoring, and follow-up.
