Dr. Walid Faraj, a distinguished Professor in General Surgery, Liver Transplant, and Liver and Pancreatic Surgery at Clemenceau Medical Center-Dubai, concurrently serves as the Head of the Division of General Surgery at the American University of Beirut Medical Center,Lebanon. A UK Board Certified and Award-Winning General Surgeon, he specializes in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, liver transplant, and minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

Dr. Faraj is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, UK, and the American College of Surgeons. His extensive surgical career includes advanced Fellowship Training in Liver Transplantation, Hepatobiliary, and Pancreatic Surgery at Kings College Hospital, London,UK. Leading a busy surgical oncology practice at AUBMC, a regional referral center, here presents Lebanon in the Arab Board of Surgery and has recently joined the International Relations Committee of the American College of Surgeons. With over 90 publications in peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Faraj is recognized for his clinical expertise and significant contributions to research in the field.
